Mini Golf Canada publishes independent planning profiles for Canadian mini golf venues. This policy explains who creates the pages, how software is used, which sources are preferred and how corrections are handled.

Editorial responsibility

The Mini Golf Canada Editorial Team is operated by Nocturnal Devs. The team is responsible for the directory structure, source-selection rules, page templates, quality checks and published corrections. Contact the team at nocturnaldevs@gmail.com. No listing claims that an editor visited a venue unless a first-hand visit is specifically disclosed.

Source priority

  1. Venue-controlled sources, including the official website, current ticket page and official booking information.
  2. Municipal, tourism, chamber of commerce or destination sources with a direct venue entry.
  3. Structured public business profiles for address, phone, status, hours and dated rating context.
  4. Other public sources only when they identify a useful fact and can be linked for verification.

Official information is preferred, but it is not assumed to be current merely because it appears on an official domain. Seasonal schedules, promotions and old event pages are treated cautiously.

How automation is used

Automated tools, including web extraction and structured-data scripts, assist with collecting public source text, normalizing records, detecting duplicate images and drafting factual summaries. Automation does not create permission to invent a fact. The publishing rules exclude raw page navigation, review-export notes, unrelated attraction bundles and unsupported superlatives.

Each listing description is generated from that venue's own combination of name, address, category, course format, published features, hours and source evidence. The build is tested for duplicate descriptions and templated residue. When a reliable detail is unavailable, the page says so and sends the visitor to the current venue source.

Ratings and reviews

A listing may show a dated aggregate rating and review count from its linked public business profile. That figure is a planning snapshot, not a Mini Golf Canada score or endorsement. Individual third-party reviews are not republished, and imported ratings are not marked up as Mini Golf Canada review structured data. Visitors should open the source profile for current feedback.

Prices, hours and status

Published prices must be clearly labelled by the source. Ambiguous bundles, stale promotions and unrelated attraction passes are omitted. Weekly hours are dated and accompanied by a reminder to check holidays, weather and seasonal operation. A public business status is a snapshot rather than a guarantee that the course is open today.

Recommendations and commercial influence

Directory inclusion is not a recommendation. Location search is ordered by distance after relevance filters; collection pages use transparent listing data rather than paid placement. Advertising, sponsorship or an affiliate relationship will be labelled near the affected content and will not purchase a positive description or suppress a correction.

Corrections and review cycle

Venue owners and visitors can use the correction link on any listing or email nocturnaldevs@gmail.com. A useful correction includes the listing URL, requested change and an official source. High-impact changes such as closure, relocation or a wrong business identity are prioritized. Routine profiles are reviewed as sources change and during scheduled data-quality passes; the visible source-check date tells readers when the underlying record was last reviewed.
