A party quote needs to distinguish golf tickets, reserved space, food, supervision and cancellation terms. We compared published conditions at Canadian venues to show which details change the event, with a worked twelve-person example rather than an assumed national party price.

Operator publications and local-authority sources checked September 7, 2026. Planning analysis by the Mini Golf Canada Research Desk; not firsthand visits or guaranteed current offers.

Worked example: ten children and two adults at Fluo

Fluo S'amuse's published 12-25-person single-round group rates are $7 for children and $9 for adults. For ten children aged 8-12 and two adults, that is 10 x $7 + 2 x $9 = $88 for golf. Two hours of the advertised $10-per-hour room rental add $20, producing a $108 subtotal. Tax treatment, availability and the mixed group's eligibility need confirmation in a quote. Food, decorations and invitation cards are not included in that calculation. Using the standard individual golf rates for the same group would be $116 for golf alone, so the published group tariff would save $28 if confirmed.

One room can have several capacity limits

Fluo lists up to 24 people for a children's-party layout, 30 for a meeting and 20 for a meal. Those are different room arrangements, not interchangeable maximums. A group of 22 that fits a party arrangement should not assume the same room seats 22 for a meal. Room rentals require a reservation even below twelve guests; golf-only groups under twelve normally walk in. Confirm room time and golf time as separate parts of the booking.

Outside food policies are not transferable

Fluo room renters may bring cake or a cold lunch, or arrange pizza delivery. Hornbrook's Funhouse allows outside cake but otherwise points parties to its own concession. Haunted Manor's FAQ restricts outside food to birthday guests with specific allergies and asks guests to bring utensils and plateware for food they bring. Send the proposed menu to the chosen operator instead of treating one venue's cake permission as a general right to cater an entire meal elsewhere.

A free lawn rental is not free golf

Goodwood Family Golf describes lawn-space rental for children's birthdays and family outings as free with booking, while its mini-golf admission remains separate. The four-to-nine-player golf band is $7 per person including tax and the ten-plus band is $6. Ask how non-players and free under-four entrants count toward the group threshold. Booking the lawn does not establish exclusive use of the course, which otherwise operates first come, first served.

Secure a complete written quote before inviting guests

Ask the operator to confirm the visit date, player ages, paid entrants, room arrangement, food plan, taxes, deposit, refund deadline and weather fallback. At Haunted Manor, a tee-time slot holds at most five guests, so a larger group needs multiple slots. At Hornbrook, party participants need waivers and the site describes a booking deposit. Neither a family admission ticket nor a course reservation automatically buys a hosted party. Resolve these terms before issuing invitations with a fixed end time.
