Three different ways to plan a Sudbury round
Sudbury's choices differ in both setting and course length. Compare a compact indoor glow course, a traditional outdoor round and a multi-route sculpture attraction before comparing ticket prices. A headline hole count alone does not tell you how much golf one admission buys.
Source-based comparison by the Mini Golf Canada Research Desk, checked September 7, 2026. These are planning judgments from the linked publications, not firsthand course reviews. Prices and admission conditions can change.
| Your plan | What changes your choice |
|---|---|
| An indoor plan with fewer holes | KUPP has 13 glow holes. Its playground, laser tag and VR are separately described activities, so choose the mini-putt booking and mini-putt hours rather than assuming a playground ticket covers everything. | A conventional outdoor scorecard | Kartways offers an 18-hole round followed by a bonus hole with a chance at a prize. The bonus is not a guaranteed second round or included kart ride; budget for golf on its own merits. Course details Sources: Sudbury Kartways mini golf. |
| Sculptures and several possible circuits | Dinosaur Valley's 63 holes are seven nine-hole routes, not one compulsory 63-hole round. Ask about the admission package and available circuits before planning the length of the visit. Course details Sources: Algoma Country: Dinosaur Valley. |
A concrete Kartways family budget
Two adults and children aged 8 and 12, one golf round. Published Canadian-dollar subtotal, before HST; no kart rides or batting included.
| Ticket choice | Published total | What is included |
|---|---|---|
| Sudbury Kartways | $40.00 | Adult $11; child 12 and under $9. Sources: Sudbury Kartways price list. |
The 12-year-old still qualifies for the child rate here. For a younger group, the operator lists children aged three and under as free with an adult golf purchase. Check the other venues' actual child categories instead of carrying this rule across all Sudbury courses.
Check the right September schedule
Dinosaur Valley's tourism entry tells visitors to call after September 8. KUPP separates laser-tag and mini-putt hours from playground hours. Those distinctions matter more for an autumn evening than the hours attached to a generic business map pin. Sources: KUPP activities and separate activity hours; Algoma Country: Dinosaur Valley.
